As you can see, we have SO MUCH in store for you! We’re so thrilled to welcome you to our space in just 40 days!
Progress update
We assembled ALL the furniture! 11 bookcases, 6 half bookcases, and 5 cube storage units! Thanks to our volunteers Celeste, Mason, Simon, Lindsey, Shannon, and Noot for assisting us!
We also began painting! We’re 95% through coat one—just an upper corner that’s still blue. Two sections of wall have already received both coats, so some bookshelves are already in place now! We’re having a workday tomorrow, 6/17, and expect to be extremely close to done if not completely finished.

Thanks to our painting volunteers Juli, Shannon, Simon, Corey, and Ciera!
Spectrum News 13 feature
We were approached by News 13 to do an interview for their pride month features! Grace, August, and I (Connor) had our interview on the 12th, and it should air and be added to their site sometime this week!
We’re so thrilled to be able to reach more eyes through this news spot! Thanks to Cynthia Cintron and Massiel Leyva for making this possible!
Vision Night
Vision Night was so much fun! Thanks to the 35-40 of you who came out! Also, thanks to Nick (@nladyman) for being our photographer for the night!

We went through all of your feedback, collected it in a document, and are definitely incorporating it into our decisions for the space. Cozy lighting, heard. Comfy seating, heard. Craft nights, heard. Later hours, heard. More on that next.
Hours
Later hours were mentioned dozens of times, so we adjusted them!
Mon-Thurs: 2-8 pm
Fri-Sun: 12-8 pm
Plus…
Sensory hour: Every Weds and Sun at 11 am-12 pm (softer lighting, lower music, no scents, calmer shopping)
Inclusive story time: Every 1st and 3rd Sat at 10 am
Thanks for following along with us as we make the long journey toward opening! When we have soft open hours, I’ll be sure to let our subscribers here know so you can be the first in the space!
We hope to see you the last weekend in July! See you soon!
